Interface Adapter
The RS-G/2 converts switch closures, relay closures, or logic levels to serial commands for the RS232 protocol as used by some Sony products. Built inside a standard 25-pin-to-25-pin shell (2" x 2" x 1/2"), the RS-G/2 is self-powered from the RS-232 interface, and requires no separate power supply (no "wall warts" to contend with!). It can transmit RS232 at cable lengths up to 100' (30m).
