VTR Control Software

Adhere VTR control software adds many of the front panel controls that were once commonly found on videotape recorders. Running on most any Windows-equipped personal computer, Adhere provides VTR control via a serial cable (available separately) from one of the COM ports. Now any RS-422-capable (9-pin "Sony Serial") videotape machine can be remotely controlled from the PC's keyboard.

More importantly, Adhere controls both assembly and insert types of recording, with inserts of any or all video and audio channels. With Adhere, it's possible to dub in a single audio channel without tying up an entire video editing suite.

Basics: Stop, Play, Rewind, Fast Forward, Record, Eject, Shuttle

Editing: Preroll, Preview, Edit, View, Assemble/Insert select, Video/Audio channel select, IN/OUT/Duration select
