  pin 2 Rx (into COM port)
  pin 3 Tx (from COM port)
  pin 4 DTR (must be high to power adapter!)
  pin 5 Ground  
  pin 6 DSR (tied to DTR)
  pin 7 RTS (must be high to power adapter!)
  pin 8 CTS (tied to RTS)
