PC-based Time Code Generator
The ADAGIO allows the use of most any PC-compatible computer as a longitudinal time code generator. Whether you have an outdated PC lying around, a laptop PC handy, or space for only one PC, the ADAGIO will turn that PC into a full-function time code generator.
The ADAGIO not only generates in all of the standard film and video frames rates, it also allows full use of the user bits. ADAGIO supports SMPTE-standard (RP-135) film user bits, common scene/take numbers, and fully customizable user bits.
Adagio generates longitudinal time code (SMPTE or EBU) suitable for VTR/ATR audio tracks. Highly customizable with extensive user bits assignment and capable of running at frame rates of 24, 25, 30df, and 30 it will accommodate almost any application. Designed for ease of use, Adagio can synchronize to video or free-run from an internal crystal with all starting times and user bits set from the keyboard, using a large-format display to show the status of all components.
